Ad Quality Score

Ad Quality Score is a diagnostic tool meant to give you a sense of how well your ad network campaign is expected to perform.

We use a Quality Score to ensure subscribers are receiving relevant ads in the Paved Ad Network.

Here's how to view and interpret your ad's quality score.

Check Your Ad Quality Score

  1. In your Paved advertiser account, navigate to your Ad Network Dashboard.

  2. Click the name of the campaign you want to work with.

  3. Scroll to the Performance section of the page to view AD QUALITY.

Understanding Ad Scores

Quality Score

What it Means

1-4

Low score. This ad might struggle to engage your target audience, so you should replace the creative.

5-6

Moderate score. This ad looks good, but there could be a little room for improvement in your headline, CTA, body, or ad image. If a high score dropped to moderate dropped recently, the audience may be experiencing ad fatigue.

7-10

High score. Based on our calculations, this ad's creative is optimized for quality.

How Scoring Works

After your campaign is live for a few hours, we'll automatically calculate the Quality Score.

  • Quality Scores are calculated on the creative and not the campaign.

  • You can see your Quality Score in the creative / ad copy reporting.

  • The Quality Score is reported on a 1-10 scale and includes expected clickthrough rate and ad relevance.

  • The more likely a user is to engage with your ad, the more likely it is that you'll see higher Quality Scores.

  • Quality Scores are used during the auction as well as the bid. Ads with higher Quality Scores will win auctions with lower prices.

  • Our Ad Quality score is updated on a daily basis. You should keep an eye on it regularly. If it drops below 4, you should replace the creative.
