Upload Your Ad Creative(s)

In the Creative step of the Ad Builder, you'll upload the headline, copy, and image for your programmatic email ad.

  1. In your Paved account, open your Ad Network campaign.

  2. Tap the Create Ad button to begin.

  3. Next, fill out the form fields to build your new ad, or click Ad Library to re-use another ad.

  • Headline:

Enter your headline. This appears in bold near the top of your ad. Write something catchy and relevant to the message on your landing page. (Maximum 60 characters)

  • Body

In the body section, briefly describe the benefits of your product or offer. The body is displayed below the headline. (Maximum 110 characters)

  • CTA

Insert your call-to-action (CTA)—a quick phrase or tagline that will drive viewers to act. For example: "Sign Up Now" or "Download the Free Ebook." (Maximum 20 characters)

  • Image File

    Upload your ad’s image.

    • Image tips:

      • Images should have a 4:3 ratio and a minimum width of 600px.

      • Keep text to a minimum or use none at all.

      • Avoid collages of multiple images.

      • Do not use images that have excess graphics or too many numbers.

  • Landing Page URL

This is the final URL where people go after clicking your ad. The URL must be on your website, and it should match what your ad promotes.

4. When you're done with the ad, click Save.

Next, you can repeat steps 2-4 to upload different ad creatives. This is helpful for A/B testing so you can see what works best for your audience.

A/B Testing Tips

  • We recommend trying at least 2-3 creative variations per campaign.

  • Choose one element to test at a time. For example, you could test 2-to 3 different images while keeping the same headline, body, and CTA.

Next Steps

After your creative is all set, navigate to the Budget section of the Ad Builder to set your ad's daily budget, runtime, and frequency capping.
